High surf advisory remains for North Shore

Advertiser Staff

A high surf advisory remains in effect until 4 p.m. for north-facing shores, the National Weather Service said.

Surf along the northern shores will remain at 10 to 15 feet today and the current northwest and north swells will continue into the weekend. However, the National Weather Service said the swells will slowly decline after tonight, but another northwest swell may arrive Wednesday night.

Surf along west shores will be 5 to 8 feet today. East shores will see surf 3 to 5 feet, and south shores will see surf 1 to 3 feet.
