Leeward police to start 'Live and Let Live' campaign

Honolulu Police Department's District 8 (Kapolei-Wai'anae) officers and Leeward Coast residents will kick off their annual "Live and Let Live" campaign at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wai'anae Police Station, 85-939 Farrington Highway.

The campaign aims to educate Leeward Coast motorists about traffic safety in an effort to reduce motor vehicle collisions during the holiday season. Officers and community members will wave campaign signs from 3 to 5 p.m. at Nanakuli and Ma'ili beach parks on the following dates: Dec. 12, 14, 19, 21 and 28.
