Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park to add miniature golf

Advertiser Staff

Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park today broke ground on a $1 million, 18-hole miniature adventure golf course at its West O'ahu facility.

The course, to include waterfalls, lagoons, lush vegetation, bridges and a man-made volcano, "is intended to showcase Hawaiian culture and blend with Oahu's natural environment," the company said in a news release.

Island Adventure Golf is scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend 2007. A round of golf will cost $7.50 for general admission and $6.50 for youth 12 years and under, senior citizens, and military. Special group rates will be available for $5.50 per person for groups of 12 or more. In addition, combination discounts will also be offered on admission to both Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park and Island Adventure Golf.

Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park has contracted COST of Jackson, Wisc., to design the miniature golf course. COST has more than 40 years of experience in designing theme parks, water parks, and adventure golf businesses in eight countries and throughout the United States.
