Power restored in Waimanalo

Hawaiian Electric Co. restored power to all 850 customers in Waimanalo affected by an outage today. The outage was caused by a truck that knocked down a utility pole near the Waimanalo Wastewater Treatment Plant.The mishap occurred at 10:22 a.m.
HECO spokesman Jose Dizon said power was gradually restored to customers starting at 1 p.m. and everyone was back on line at 4:22 p.m.
