Shopping Center restaurant robbed, manager tied up

Advertiser Staff

Police are searching for two suspects wanted on suspicion of kidnapping and second degree robbery following an incident that happened at 10:50 p.m. last night at a restaurant in the Windward City Shopping Center.

Police said the suspects, one male believed to be in his 30s and the other male to be in his 50s, hid in the restaurant until all the employees except for the manager, a female, had left.

The first suspect then came out of hiding and knocked the manager off her chair and the second suspect then put duct tape over her mouth and tied her wrists together, police said.

The suspects then took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled, police said.

The manager managed to free herself and called police.
