Sunny skies, moderate temps dominate forecast

It's going to be a beautiful day with moderate temperatures and sunny skies around the islands.

However, the light trade winds we're enjoying will increase on Thursday as a high pressure system moves into the north, the National Weather Service said.

Today's forecast calls for highs 74 to 81 degres and east winds 10 to 15 mph. The temperatures will dip to 58 to 66 by nightfall and winds will shift to the west at 10 mph.

Tomorrow will again by mostly sunny, east winds 10 to 15 mph and temperatures 74 to 81 degrees. Nightfall will bring partly cloudy skies and then becoming mostly cloudy with scattered showers.

Thursday's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with scattered showers in the morning and isolated showers in the afternoon with east winds 10 to 20 mph.
