Hawai'i ranks high in another gay, lesbian traveler poll

A national survey conducted for the Travel Industry Association, one of the industry's biggest trade groups, shows Honolulu was among the top 21 destinations deemed "gay friendly" in a survey of 2,020 gay and lesbian travelers.The report released today said about half of those asked said a destinations gay friendliness was important when making travel plans.
A survey from another group earlier this week found Hawai'i was a popular destination with gay and lesbian travelers with household incomes of at least $250,000 annually.
