Trade winds expected to increase tonight

Light winds will continue through most of today, but trade winds will return tonight and strengthen tomorrow as a high pressure system builds to the north, the National Weather Service said.

Rainfall is expected to be light over the next week.

Today's forecast calls for partly sunny skies with isolated light showers, highs 74 to 81 degrees and west winds around 10 mph that will shift to the east in the afternoon.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and lows 63 to 71 degrees with a 50 percent chance of rain.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with scattered showers in the morning and isolated showers in the afternoon. Highs will be 74 to 81 degrees with east winds 10 to 20 mph.

Tomorrow night, temperatures will drop to 62 to 69 degrees and and there will be a 50 percent chance of rain.
