Christmas has come early for Maui native Keali'i Reichel, whose first seasonal CD, "Maluhia," has zoomed to the No. 1 spot in local record sales.

Since its release two weeks ago, the disc has sold more than 4,500 copies to date — 2,322 this past week, 2,230 the first week.

"Maluhia" also is charted at No. 4 in World Music.

The "Beatles Love" CD, the soundtrack to the new Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas, is No. 2, followed by Il Divo's "Siempre," Jake Shimabukuro's "Gently Weeps," Na Palapalai's "Ka Pua Hae Hawai'i" and The Brothers Cazimero's "Caz Christmas."
