Hawaiian Islands Ministries conference set for March

Hawaiian Islands Ministries has set the date for "Love One Another," its 19th annual Honolulu conference, to be held March 29-31 at the Hawai'i Convention Center.About 4,000 people took part in the 2006 conference; some 28 speakers are confirmed and more than 100 seminars will be offered. Keynote speakers include Erwin McManus, who specializes in the emergent church trend, musician Kathy Troccoli and Darrell Scott, the father of a Columbine shooting victim.
Speaker David Yonggi Cho, who had planned to be here and whose image is on the printed program, canceled because of health reasons.
About 1,200 students and youth group members will have an expanded program.
Fees: $25 to $250.
