High wind advisory in effect until 6 p.m.

A high wind advisory is in effect unti 6 p.m. today with winds in excess of 30 mph predicted, the National Weather Service said.

A shear line across the central islands will bring increased showers from Kaua'i to Maui this morning before dissipating later today.

Drier weather should return tomorrow.

There is also a small craft advisory for both the winds and seas, the National Weather Service said.

Today's forecast calls for partly sunny skies with scattered showers. It will be breezy, with highs 74 to 81 degrees and east winds 20 to 25 mph. There is a 50 percent chance of rain.

Tonight, winds will decrease to 15 to 20 mph and temperatures will dip to 62 to 69 degrees.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with isolated showers, highs 74 to 81 and east winds 10 to 20 mph with a chance of rain at 20 percent.

Weekend weather calls for mostly sunny with isolated shower on Saturday, highs 74 to 81 and east winds 10 to 15 mph.
