East-bound traffic into town slows

East-bound traffic at the H-1/H-2 merge is officially congested as of 6 a.m. this morning.The Zipper Lane is slow and traffic is growing heavy moving closer to town at the Middle Street Merge, Liliha and the Vineyard exit.
Ewa-bound traffic coming into town from Hawai'i Kai is moving along without problem.
West of Honolulu, traffic is backing up on the H-1 past the Waikele Shopping Center and is slow through the H-1/Kunia onramp.
