Abercrombie notes rising Iraq death toll

U.S. Rep. Neil Abercrombie acknowledged the rising death toll for Hawai'i troops in Iraq in a statement released this afternoon."Five more soldiers from Schofield were lost yesterday in Iraq, and another soldier and two Marines from Kane'ohe a few days before that," Abercrombie said.
"Every day brings more sorrow to the families and friends of our brave men and women in uniform. The best way for me to honor their sacrifice is to direct all my legislative energy toward bringing this war to an end," he said.
