Pearlridge Estates residents asked to conserve water

Advertiser Staff

The Board of Water Supply is asking Pearlridge Estates residents to conserve water after a main break this morning.

A 12-inch water main broke at 98-775 Ka'onohi St. in Pearl City about 4:15 a.m.

The break left six homes and the Pearl Country Club without water until about 3 p.m.

Though the break has been repaired, Board of Water Supply spokeswoman Wanda Yamane said crews are expected to be working on the main through the afternoon.

She said Pearlridge Estates residents are asked to conserve water through the late afternoon, while the reservoir refills.
