Car crash victims reported in serious condition

Advertiser Staff

Two men, both 21, have been taken to The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition with injuries received when their convertible smashed into a large produce truck on Farrington Highway near the Kamehameha Highway overpass in Waipahu and flipped over.

Firefighters were called to help extricate the two men from the overturned car.

The two were initially listed in critical condition but were later upgraded to serious condition after being treated by city paramedics at the scene.

All west-bound lanes of Farrington Highway were closed to traffic immediately after the collision but have since been reopened.
