Man dies at Honolulu Marathon

A 55-year-old Kane'ohe man died yesterday at Straub Clinic & Hospital after complaining of chest pains while working at The Honolulu Marathon. The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office identified the man as Jonah Pak.

Police said Pak was a Honolulu Marathon volunteer who was working at Kalakaua and 'Ohua avenues when he became ill at 8:20 a.m. He died at the hospital at about 9 a.m.
