Two booked on attempted-murder charges

Advertiser Staff

A man and woman, both 20, have been released pending further investigation after being booked yesterday on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder in connection with an attack on a woman, 42, in Waipahu.

The woman told police the man broke a glass window at her house and threatened her with a pistol outside her home before punching her or hitting her with an object during an ensuing argument.

As the victim tried to run, the female suspect allegedly drove a car at her.

In addition to being booked on attempted-murder charges, the two people arrested were booked on burglary, terroristic threatening and assault charges.
