Village Park man charged in sex assault

A 38-year-old Village Park man was charged Friday with 19 counts of sexual assault involving a minor.Jeffrey Cox was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
The alleged attacks occurred from February 2004 through October 2006, police said.
