Man arrested in Nanakuli assault

Police arrested a 27-year-old man today for allegedly breaking into his former girlfriend's Nanakuli home and threatening the woman and her present boyfriend with a machete.The man was arrested at the scene at 3:50 p.m. and booked on suspicion of terroristic threatening, burglary, abuse of a household member and criminal property damage. Charges are pending.
The CPD count is related to damage to the windshield of a vehicle belonging to the male victim.
The woman, 26, and man, 19, were not injured.
