Dayna Lyn Hamamoto, daughter of Darwin and Alice Hamamoto of Waikele, and Jason Kenji Arakaki, son of Glenn and Carolyn Arakaki of 'Aiea, were married Sept. 10 at the Ihilani Resort & Spa, where the reception followed. The bride (Pearl City High School/Hawai'i Pacific University) is now Dayna Lyn Hamamoto Arakaki. The groom is a graduate of 'Aiea High School and Michigan State University. The couple live in Honolulu.

Heather Faith Parr, daughter of Gordon and Susan Parr of Somers Point, N.J., and Daniel Paul Nishimura, son of Sidney and Lillian Nishimura of Hawai'i Kai, were married May 13 at the Hale Koa Hotel, where the reception followed. The bride, formerly of Somers Point, (1997 Liberty University bachelor's), now Heather Faith Nishimura, is an administrative assistant with Amity Entertainment. The groom, formerly of Honolulu, (1994 Kaiser High School/1998 Purdue University bachelor's) is an MBA student at Vanderbilt University. The couple live in Nashville, Tenn.
