Aqua Hotels to manage Coconut Plaza Hotel

News Release

Aqua Hotels to assume management of the Coconut Plaza Hotel

80-room property joins Aqua on December 20

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

December 12, 2006

WAIKIKI BEACH, Hawaii – Aqua Hotels and Resorts announced that it has been awarded the management contract for the 80-room Coconut Plaza Hotel by 3D Investments, LLC, a California-based real estate investment firm with significant holdings in Hawaii.

Located at 450 Lewers Street in Waikiki, the property was most recently managed by ResortQuest Hawaii. Effective December 20, it will be renamed Aqua Coconut Plaza and initially marketed as an Aqua Lite hotel.

According to Mike Paulin, Owner and CEO of Aqua Hotels and Resorts, "The Coconut Plaza has personality and lots of potential. A renovations program of several million dollars is slated for early 2007 and will easily upgrade its status to the Aqua Boutique Collection and further strengthen Aqua's position in this niche market.

"We have the energy and commitment that will be great for the Coconut Plaza," said Elizabeth Churchill, Aqua's VP Marketing & Guest Services. "We're looking forward to utilizing our expertise to create more awareness and revenue for the property."

The Aqua Coconut Plaza has a unique, elevated porte cochere. The property offers an island-style ambiance, outdoor pool, valet parking and attentive staff. Guest rooms feature private lanais with views of the mountains and Ala Wai, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
