Houston-based hospital chain mulls Hawai'i expansion

University General Hospital Systems, a Houston operator of acute-care hospitals, said Hawai'i is one of several states it is considering for an expansion.The for-profit healthcare system is also looking at possibly expanding to Denver, Dallas and Phoenix, according to a news release.
