Kaua`i surf spot reopens following shark sighting

Advertiser Staff

LIHU'E, Kaua'i—The Kaua'i Ocean Safety Bureau today reopened the surf spot known as Inters or Intersections at Kekaha, a day after they spotted a 6 to 8-foot shark in the area.

The beach was closed yesterday after people spotted the large whitetip reef shark. There was no sign of the shark this morning.
