Authorities ID drowning victim

A man whose body was found last night in waters near Mokoli'i off Kualoa has been identified as Milton Oshiro, 59, of Kane'ohe.

Oshiro's body was brought to shore by friends at 7:40 last night, according to the Honolulu Fire Department.

Oshiro, who suffered from heart disease, drowned after suffering a stroke and his death was deemed an accident, according to the office of the City Medical Examiner.
