TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"George Clooney: An American Cinematheque Tribute," 6 p.m., AMC. Showered with sudden power, George Clooney has used it well. He's made many good movies and some great ones. He's made films no one else would have tried. Now he gets a terrific tribute. The film clips are poorly assembled, but the speeches are wonderful. On tape, we see Matt Damon in Africa, handing out refunds to "Batman & Robin" viewers. In person, we get a hilarious talk by former "ER" colleague Noah Wyle. This is more of a roast than a tribute, but it's a fun one.

OF NOTE

"The Lost Room," 5 and 7 p.m., SciFi Channel. First is a rerun of Tuesday's chapter with a cop (Peter Krause) desperately searching for his daughter while people try to kill him to get his powerful key. Then comes the finale.

"Bones," 7 and 8 p.m., Fox. First is a new episode directed by David Duchovny, the former "X-Files" star; Brennan and her brother get a warning from their long-missing father. Then is a rerun in which she confronts someone using voodoo, can't explain a missing day and becomes a murder suspect.

"I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" (2001, ABC Family) and "Molly: An American Girl on the Homefront" (2006, Disney), both 8 p.m. One family film ("Mommy") is quite awful as a kid misbehaves after seeing his dad (in Santa suit) kiss his mom. The other is much better with Joyce Chopra directing the story of small-town life during World War II.

"Criminal Minds," 8 p.m., CBS. An investigator, using a profile Gideon developed, arrests Morgan (Shemar Moore) for murder.

"Christmas in Washington," 8 p.m., TNT. Each year this special offers gorgeous pictures and beautiful music. This year's concert has "American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks and country star Gretchen Wilson, plus Chris Brown, Corinne Bailey Ray, 12-year-old prodigy Bianca Ryan and European guy group Il Divo.

"Medium," 9 p.m., NBC. A famous criminal profiler helps with a case. When Allison disagrees with him, he starts to wonder where she's getting her information.
