Five football players from Hawai'i have been selected to play in the 2007 High School All-American Bowl Game Classic on Jan. 5 in Shreveport, La., according to a bowl press release.

Farrington defensive lineman Sam Fehoko, offensive lineman Manu Tonga and linebacker Elisha Faasu, as well as Damien offensive lineman Sione Tau and Kamehameha-Hawai'i defensive lineman Kalani Aldrich will play for the West team. A total of 127 players from the U.S. and one from Canada were selected.

They will be a part of week-long festivities while preparing for the game, which will be televised nationally on a delayed basis by FOX, the release said.

Among the players are four Gatorade state players of the year, including Fehoko.
