Morning commute off to a slow start for some

An earlier stall in Aiea has jammed things up this morning for drivers heading into town from Leeward and Central O'ahu.
Traffic is backed up past the Waikele shopping center and remains heavy until past the Ka'ahumanu Street overpass.
The H-1/H-2 merge is bumper to bumper.
The koko-head bound traffic thins out considerably, however, once past the Kaonohi Street overpass.
Traffic is flowing smoothly through the Middle Street merge at this time.
No problems have been reported heading in from Windward O'ahu or Hawai'i Kai.
