State DOT hires Canadian firm to collect road data

International Road Dynamics, a Saskatoon, Saskatchewan-based company specializing in production and systems to manage highways, said it received a contract with the Hawai'i Department of Transportation.The company will provide weigh-in motion and continuous vehicle data collection services that supplement the state's existing systems, International Road said in a news release. Data from the project are used for pavement planning and design.
