Frequent fliers can help Kidney Foundation

Advertiser Staff

The National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii has announced it is teaming up with Hawaiian Airlines and its frequent fliers in a program that will allow the foundation to collect free credits that can be redeemed later to help meet the foundation's travel needs.

The HawaiianMiles the foundation receives will be used to help the organization and the people it serves with interisland and mainland travel, foundation officials said.

Travelers interested in participating are being asked to sign up for a Hawaiian Airlines CharityMiles account. Online sign-up is available at www.kidneyhi.org under the Hawaiian Airlines logo.

The airline will match 10 percent of all of the miles participants earn and donate them to the Kidney Foundation. No miles will be deducted from personal HawaiianMiles accounts.

Membership applications are also available at the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii, 593-1515.
