NFL: Security pat downs possible at 2007 Pro Bowl

Advertiser Staff

It's still a ways off, but the National Football League is already spreading the word that fans who attend the Feb. 10 Pro Bowl game at Aloha Stadium may be subjected to security pat downs before they are allowed to enter the stadium.

According to an article posted on NFL.com, the league implemented a beefed up security measures prior to the start of the 2005 season at all stadiums where NFL games are played.

These security measures include the requirement that all fans entering any stadium where an NFL game is played are subject to a physical security inspection of their person and belongings.

The increased security measure included a provision that it be implemented at the 2007 Pro Bowl.

The NFL website suggests that since security screening may delay entry, all fans are encouraged to enter the stadium as early as possible.
