Laboy tops Hawaii stars in Titans' victory

Former University of Hawaii defensive end Travis Laboy had three tackles, including a half a sack, in Tennessee's 24-17 victory over Jacksonville Sunday in a game that had numerous Hawaii connections.

The game also featured former UH guard Vince Manuwai and former Kahuku High star Chris Naeole (Colorado) as Jacksonville's starting guards.

Jesse Mahelona (Kealakehe), a former Tennessee Volunteers player on the Titans roster, was not active for the game.

Norm Chow is Tennessee's offensive coordinator and Titans' starting center Kevin Mawae have local ties.

Former UH receiver and kick returner Chad Owens is on the Jaguars' practice squad.
