'Le Rêve' at Wynn lowers ticket prices

Tickets for "Le Rêve" at the Wynn have been standardized throughout the week (no premium weekend prices). The new prices are $79, $99 and $118.

VENETIAN CONDO

Las Vegas Sands Corp. has announced plans to build a 632-foot-tall 849-unit condo tower on a portion of the Palazzo property next to the Venetian. The tower, which will include 370 ultra-luxury units, is to be built atop the Palazzo's shopping mall.

HARRAH'S HUSTLE

Harrah's Entertainment, the world's largest casino company, indicates it will soon make a decision about a pair of buy-out offers for the company. The two bids each set the price at about $15.5 million.

Q. Are rooms still available for New Year's Eve?

A. It's not too late to book a room for New Year's Eve. Calls to 86 casinos in November found vacancies at 75 of them (so several figure to remain available). One-night stays (on the 31st) ranged from $169 at the Speedway to $799 at Bellagio. Two-night packages ran from $318 at Fiesta Henderson to $1,398 at the Wynn. Three-night packages offered the best deals, including $168 at El Cortez, $378 at Fiesta Rancho, $537 at Fitzgeralds and Terrible's, and $573 at the Stratosphere.
