Advertiser Staff

HILO, Hawai'i — An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow on the body of a California man who apparently drowned yesterday in waters at Kehena Beach in Puna.

Jonathan Cupp, 45, of Hollywood, was found lifeless in the water at about 2:19 p.m. yesterday, police were told.

Rescue personnel from the Fire Department tried to revive Cupp with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and then took him to Hilo Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
