High surf advisory for east, south shores

A high surf advisory is in effect for the eastern shores of O'ahu, Kaua'i, Molokai, Maui and the Big Island through 6 p.m. Tuesday and for the southern shores of all islands today, the National Weather Service said.Surf along east shores today will be 8 to 10 feet and very rough, the National Weather Service said, and south shores will see surf 6 to 8 feet.
Surf on northern shores will be 3 to 5 feet and west shores will see surf 3 to 6 feet.
