Stadium announces parking plan for Hawaii Bowl

The stadium authority has released a set of new plans to help prevent gridlock at this weekend's Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl.Heavy traffic is expected, so the authority has created the following procedures for the Christmas Eve game:
-- Cancellation of the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet on Sunday only.
-- Opening parking gates at 10 a.m., five hours before the 3 p.m. kick-off.
-- A giveaway of stadium concession coupons for two free 32-ounce soft drinks ($7 value) to the first 500 drivers who use the Leeward Community College alternate parking site.
-- A giveaway of stadium concession coupons for two free 32-ounce soft drinks ($7 value) for the first 500 drivers who use the Kamehameha Drive-In alternate parking site.
-- Halawa gate, Gate 3, will be used as the entry for upper and lower Halawa parking lot only.
-- Lower Salt Lake gate, Gate 4, will be used for entry for upper and lower Halawa parking lot.
-- Kamehameha Lot gate, Gate 5, will be used for entry for Kamehameha Lot only.
Here is a list of the alternate parking sites:
-- Kamehameha Drive-In: Opens at 11 a.m. Parking is $5 per vehicle and the shuttle service to Aloha Stadium is free.
-- Leeward Community College: Opens at 11 a.m. Free parking and $2 per person shuttle service available.
-- Radford High School: Opens at 11 a.m. Parking is $3, and there is no shuttle service available.
