Sunny skies dominate forecast

The weather couldn't be much better heading into the holiday weekend.

The National Weather Service's forecast calls for mostly dry and sunny weather this week.

Today, expect mostly sunny skies with isolated showers, highs 73 to 80 degrees and east winds 10 to 15 mph with only a 20 percent chance of rain.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with isolated showers, lows 60 to 69 and east winds around 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny with isolated showers, highs 73 to 80, east winds 10 to 15 mph and a 20 percent chance of rain.

Tomorrow night: Partly cloudy, isolated showers in the evening, scattered showers after midnight with lows 61 to 70 and east winds around 10 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny, isolated showers in the afternoon and highs 73 to 80 with east winds 10 to 15 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, isolated showers in the evening, scattered showers after midnight and lows 62 to 71 with east winds 10 to 15 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with isolated showers, highs 73 to 80, east winds 10 to 15 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy with isolated showers, lows 64 to 73 and east winds 10 to 15 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, highs 73 to 80, east winds 10 to 15 mph.

Christmas Eve: Partly cloudy with isolated showers, lows 64 to 73, east winds around 10 mph.

Christmas Day: Sunny, isolated showers in the afternoon, highs 73 to 80 and east winds 10 to 15 mph.

Christmas Day: Partly cloudy, isolated showers in the evening, scattered showers after midnight with lows 64 to 73 and east winds around 10 mph.
