Forecast calls for golf, surf and outdoor activities

Good surf and great golfing weather — what more can you ask for heading into the holiday weekend?

With high surf advisories in effect until 2 p.m. Sunday for the northern and western shores and good surf around the islands for surfers to enjoy, land-lubbers can bask in temperatures in the 73- to 80-degree range with southeast winds 10 to 15 mph, according to the latest forecast by the National Weather Service.

Mostly cloudy skies with scattered light showers in the morning and isolated showers in the afternoon are also in today's forecast.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with scattered showers after midnight, lows 61 to 70 with light winds and a 40 percent chance of rain.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny, isolated showers in the afternoon, highs 73 to 80 and east winds up to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Tomorrow night: Partly cloudy, isolated showers in the evening, scattered showers after midnight and lows 62 to 71.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with isolated showers, highs 73 to 80 and east winds up to 10 mph. with a 20 percent chance of rain.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with isolated showers, lows 64 to 73, northeast winds around 10 mph and 20 percent chance of rain.

Sunday: Sunny, highs 73 to 80, east winds 10 to 15 mph.

Christmas Eve: Partly cloudy with isolated showers, lows 64 to 73, east winds around 10 mph.

Christmas Day: Sunny, isolated showers in the afternoon, highs 73 to 80, east winds 10 to 15 mph.
