Japan Airlines to add flights for holiday season

Japan Airlines said it expects the number of passenger reservations for the New Year vacation period to rise this year. The period runs from Dec. 28 to Jan. 8.The air carrier said the total number of New Year JAL Group international reservations is up 4 percent from the same period last year.
The company said it expects to operate an additional 92 scheduled and charter flights to resort destinations such as Hawaii, Guam and Palau.
