Warriors sign defensive lineman Hisatake

Defensive lineman Ray Hisatake of the College of San Mateo today accepted a football scholarship from the University of Hawai'i.Hisatake, who is 6 feet 4 and 315 pounds, turned down offers from San Jose State and New Mexico.
Hisatake delayed his announcement until he informed those schools of his decision.
Hisatake said he has earned an associate degree, a requirement for an incoming junior-college transfer, and will enroll at UH in January.
He will have three years to play two seasons.
