Advertiser Staff

Raven is tail-wagging happy to be back home with her owners. Stolen a month ago, the dog turned up in Waiahole Valley and was reunited with her family after her picture was published in The Advertiser.

Here's a dog drama with an ending happier than a tail-wagging hello.

The owners of Raven, a dog found by the Royos family in their Waiahole Valley neighborhood two weeks ago, were reunited with their pet Tuesday morning after a photograph of the animal appeared that day in The Advertiser.

The owners, a Ka'a'awa couple, said Raven was stolen a month ago, according to Elizabeth Royos.

Raven was so happy to see them that she practically knocked them over.

"Her tail was wagging, going back and forth, back and forth, and they were crying," Royos said. "It made me cry a little bit."
