H-1 westbound shut down after motorcycle accident

Police have shut down all westbound lanes of the H-1 Freeway near the Middle Street overpass after a motorcycle accident.The closure started shortly after 10 p.m.
EMS personnel said the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in extremely critical condition. The call came in at 10:03 p.m.
No other vehicles were involved.
Police traffic investigators are responding to the scene. It's unclear how long the westbound lanes will be closed, police said.
