Small-craft advisory in effect through Monday

A large northwest swell will produce high surf along all north-facing shores today, which has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a small-craft advisory through Christmas Day.Surf along north-facing shores of the smaller islands will be 15 to 20 feet today, and the north-facing shores of the Big Island will see surf of 10 to 15 feet.
