Car strikes street light on Ala Moana boulevard

A crew from the Hawaiian Electric Co. worked to repair a street light downed when a car crashed into it shortly after 1 a.m.Ala Moana Blvd was closed in both directions between Ward Avenue and Kamake'e Street.
The driver of the car was not injured, but the pole was leaning into the roadway.
The HECO crew was making repairs.
