UH's Lojeski named WAC Player of the Week

University of Hawai'i guard Matt Lojeski was named the Western Athletic Conference player of the week for helping the Rainbow Warriors win the championship of the Rainbow Classic, the conference office announced today.Lojeski scored a career-high 33 points Saturday night in UH's 76-60 victory over Creighton. He hit 12 of 15 field-goal attempts, including 5 of 6 from three-point range.
Lojeski, a senior from Racine, Wisc., scored 74 points in UH's three victories.
For the week he averaged 24.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
