Limited road construction resumes around O'ahu

Many road construction projects are on hold until after the holidays, but a few resume today that will slow some back-to-work traffic.Kamehameha work near Crouching Lion
Shoulder lanes will close on Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Crouching Lion Inn today through Friday for sign installation and guardrail work.
Farrington work in Nanakuli continues
West-bound right lanes will be closed on Farrington Highway between Hakimo Road and Ka'ukama Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
The right lane will be closed for adjustments to an existing concrete channel wall and the installation of a chain-link fence.
Farrington project in Waipahu continues
Lanes will be closed on Farrington Highway in Waipahu Tuesday through Friday at these locations and times:
East-bound, 8:30 a.m. through 3 p.m. daily
West-bound, 7:30 a.m. through 3 p.m. daily
Lane closures will not be scheduled through Jan. 2 on the following:
Lane closures for highway construction projects at these locations will resume on Jan. 3.
Highway work that does not involve lane closures, such as shoulder maintenance and landscaping work, may still be scheduled. Emergency road closures may also be scheduled when necessary.
