Two seriously hurt in crash

Two people were taken to The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition following a two-car crash tonight at the intersection of Vineyard Boulevard and Liliha Street, according to police.

The accident happened shortly before 9 p.m., and initial reports had indicated that motorcycles were also involved in the crash. At the scene of the accident, three vehicles, including a mangled black Honda, were pushed off to the side of Vineyard Boulevard. Four motorcycles had also been pushed off to the side of the road.

No additional information was immediately available regarding the two patients taken to Queen's. Two others, one male and one female, were taken to St. Francis Medical Center with minor injuries, according to Emergency Medical Services.
