Police Beat: Man sought in Fast Stop robbery

The Honolulu Police Department is seeking a man involved in robbing the Fast Stop convenience store at Stadium Mall in Salt Lake on Dec. 7.

The man allegedly entered the store at 5:50 a.m. and approached a store cashier, brandishing a gun and demanding money. The suspect then fled.

The man is described as weighing about 235 pounds and about 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He also had a thick mustache. He was wearing a hooded sweater, shorts and slippers. He had a circular tattoo on his left hand and he used a silver handgun, police said.
