Atlanta Falcons starting wide receiver Ashley Lelie suffered a left shoulder separation against Carolina and will miss the game at Philadelphia on Sunday.

Lelie, who has 28 catches for 430 yards and one touchdown, likely will be replaced by former starter Roddy White. Adam Jennings, who does not have a reception, will move up as the No. 3 receiver.

Lelie injured his shoulder early in the fourth quarter and left the game.

Lelie fell hard on the shoulder near the end zone after trying to catch a pass of about 50 yards from Michael Vick. He was closely guarded by Panthers cornerback Ken Lucas.

Lelie, a former Hawai'i standout, is in his fifth season in the NFL. He was a first-round pick by Denver in 2002, but was traded to the Falcons in August as part of a three-team deal.
