20-foot surf pounds Kaua'i's north shore

HANALEI, Kaua`i — Ocean safety officials on Kaua'i report 20-foot surf on the island's north shore, with occasional bigger sets. Swimmers were urged to avoid the shoreline from from Hanalei Pavilion to Ki'i Beach.
