Man with rifle is arrested after threat

A 70-year-old Salt Lake man was arrested late Wednesday night after allegedly threatening to shoot his 38-year-old daughter.Police arrived and found the man with a rifle.
Patrol officers also discovered that the man was a convicted felon.
The man was being held pending investigation, police said.
